Animation – Take Two

When I animated Stewart this time, I focused on pose to pose animation, but did the whole body at once. This made a huge difference in the overall walk. I added more subtle movemnts of the hips and shoulders from the outset, which helped the weighting of the character. Although the walk cycle is still very basic, I have developed an understanding of the key principles of animating a walk-principles that lend themselves well to many other types of animation.
